The city is an important economic, literary and cultural center of Bulgaria during the Renaissance.Today Kotel is a resort town with many preserved Renaissance buildings - large Natural and Ethnography Museum, the Pantheon of Rakovski and Revival Museum of Kotel. Let me mention the National School of Folk Music and Dance Arts "Philip Kutev" which boasts the city.

Our family hotel "Aquarius" is located in the southeastern corner of the Kotel and at the same time is only 5 minutes walk from the city center. North of the house, 15 minutes away by walk began extensive green park called "The Springs".There you will be able to see river "Kotleshnitsa" , Natural science museum, Stadium and many alleys, all this hidden in coniferous and deciduous forests.

The guest house offers you the comfort needed for your vacation during the hot summers, and the beautiful white winter days."Aquarius" is a two-storey building in the so-called "Old City style" completely renovated last three years. The house keeps the tradition of the Bulgarian lifestyle. The room's lining talks for the spirit of our ancestors with the charm of hand-crocheted lace, old dressers and colorful rugs. Behind the stone walls, however,we have room with contemporary luxury and amenities - central heating, cable TV in every room, bathroom. On the first floor are lounge, fully equipped kitchen and a room that has its own bathroom. On the second floor there are two other rooms that share a bathroom.
The rooms have a capacity up to 4 people maximum, and the whole house up to 12-14 people.
Each room has cable TV, wireless internet. The rooms are tastefully decorated and cozy. During the winter the house is heated by local heating. All floors in the guest house are covered with authentic Kotel carpets made by local artisans - weavers. Next to the guest house was built spacious restaurant with a fireplace for 20 people.
