The Ambasciatori Palace was originally opened just over 100 years ago in 1905 and was frequented by diplomats from nearby embassies, thus earning the name "The Ambassador's Palace". The hotel has been lavishly restored in recent years and new life infused into original features and majestic interiors. All the plaster work has been returned to its former glory as well as the boxed ceilings and arches. The true beauty of this hotel begins at the entrance and main hall where massive Brazilian granite columns stand on a cool, pale marble floor with multicoloured mosaic surrounds. The grand sweeping staircase is a focal point at the entrance and is framed with an intricate wrought iron handrail. This refinement continues into the 151 spacious rooms and suites, all decorated with exquisite style, featuring brocade, fine period furniture and elegant marble fireplaces.
The palatial feel of the Ambasciatori allows guests to feel comfortable and indulged in a traditional atmosphere that offers every modern luxury, and for those seeking relaxation away from home to experience first class hospitality. The Ambasciatori Palace Hotel features 151 newly renovated rooms, including 11 suites, over six floors, all of them attractively furnished and containing an exceptional range of amenities. All rooms are Guest Room decorated with brocade, antique furniture and marble fireplaces.

Spacious, elegant and newly decorated, the suites consist of one large bedroom and a separate seating and living area. All beautifully furnished with light coloured upholstery and draping curtains, a stricking contrast is created throughout, against the well-restored, dark-wood antique furniture. Exquisite Venetian glass chandeliers, marble fireplaces and parquet floors add a touch of warmth to enhance the luxurious ambience. The bathrooms are large and have plenty of natural light as well as the added delight of a Jacuzzi.
La Terrazza
The prestigious La Terrazza restaurant became famous in the 1920s. A well-known gourmet restaurant, it offers a delicious fusion of international and traditional Italian cuisine. A small and elegant first-floor restaurant, La Terrazza - as its name suggests - opens out onto a terrace overlooking the Via Veneto, an atmospheric place for al fresco dining in warmer weather.
The Embassy Piano Bar
The Embassy Piano Bar is a relaxing and intimate bar where guests can enjoy live piano music until late evening, while sipping one of the delicious cocktails prepared by the experienced barman, Andrea Esposito.
