The hostel represents a small family hotel, which has been operational since 1995 (until 2000 it was registered as a hotel under the categorization standards at the time).

Hostel ICO is located in the center of Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, about 700 meters away from the Central Railway and Central Bus Stations and about the same distance away from the St. Nedelya Cathedral (perceived as the central point of the city), the buildings of the Council of Ministers and the President. Within a walking distance from the hostel, a great number of cafes, bars and restaurants can be found.

Hostel ICO is comprised of a small lobby and seven guest rooms – two singles, three doubles, one triple and one quadruple. All rooms are equipped with cable TV with a variety of international channels and high speed wireless Internet, which are included in the price. Three bathrooms can be shared. All accommodation units are nicely heated in the cold months of the year. Clean and fresh sheets, blankets and towels are naturally provided. In addition, all guests have free access to a refrigerator, an iron, a hair dryer and several maps of Sofia.

All guest rooms can be used only on a private basis (no strangers in one room), as the price of a bed / night is currently fixed at 7,5 euro for the doubles, the triple and the quadruple room. The price for a single room is 13 euro. There is a 0,5 euro local tax (tourist fee) per person per night both for Bulgarian nationals and foreigners, which is not included in the price above. For group visits or longer stays a small price discount could be granted.

The hostel is working around the clock and there is always someone from the administration.
