The village is nestled in the Balkan Mountains, following the curves of river winding through the village, hence its name. The river is rich in fish and has excellent fishing conditions. For keen fishermen the fourth largest dam in Bulgaria - Jrebchevo Dam is in the vicinity with very comfortable sleeves.
Еcotrail "Liava Reka" starts from the village. It is15 km long route with duration of 8 hours. " In its sequel there are three shelters with barbecue where you can stop by. The natural lake near one of the shelters is especially beautiful .
Rent-a-car or rent a bike can be organized at the customers request to visit the nearby villages.

Liava Reka is accessible at any time of the year. The exit to the village is located in the passage Hainboaz. Signposting of diversion is located in the village Pchelinovo. The road from Liava Reka to Pchelinovo is asphalt. The distance is about 3 km.
