Paroni is a beautiful family lodge located in the calm city Samokov (8 km of Borovets) on the northern slopes of the Rila mountain and in the middle of oldage pine tree woods. Borevets is the oldest and most well known wintersports area of Bulgaria and also has much to offer during the summertime. The beautiful, rural surroundings, are an excellent location for nature lovers and hikers that value piece and relaxation.

Paroni Lodge has 4 rooms for 12 maximum guests. All rooms are foreseen with it's own bathroom, Tv and radio. Furthermore, Paroni Lodge has an excellent restaurant with 63 seats where visitors can enjoy the European kitchen. During the summer, there are barbecue facilities on the terrace for our guests. For the children, we have a grass playground with swings.

During the summer there are possibilities nearby to play tennis, to ride horses, swimming, hiking, fishing, sunbathing or waterskiing. You can go on excursions to the Rila Monastery or to the city Sofia. Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria and is one of the oldest settlements in Europe. The city is a beautiful mix of various cultures and accommodates many inheritances from the past.

If you go through the center you can almost taste the rich history of the city and country. There are many churches, government buildings, attractive parks and some grim remains from the communist era. The city accommodates the largest cathedral of the Balkans, the Alexander Nevski Cathedral.

Sofia today is a modern and busy city, the center of Bulgarian politics, economy and culture. Through the harmony of the old and new, the city has an unique charm. Sofia has the sounds of a capital and the charm of a compact center, where all important sights can be visited on foot.

The Bulgarian monasteries and churches are guarded with the Bulgarian language and culture which stood the course of time. These days, they still fascinate the visitors with their pure and harmonious buildings and realm decorated, large houses fully decorated with frescos.
